From time to time at the request of members of the Congregation or at the suggestion of the Rabbi, classes for adults are offered at the Synagogue.

They have included:

  • Beginning, intermediate and advanced Hebrew
  • Detailed analysis of books of the Bible such as Joshua and Job
  • Studies of individual parts of the prayer service
  • Life cycle events in Jewish life from birth to death
  • Jewish customs
  • Jewish holiday observance
  • Current events of Jewish concern
  • Trips to places of Jewish interest such as the Gomez home
  • Adult bar mitzvah and bat mitzvah preparation
